Fruit Crumble

200g plain flour
100g butter
100g sugar

Rub butter into the flour. Add sugar and mix well
Put prepared fruit into oven proof dish and sprinkle crumble mix on top. Don't compress down
If liked sprinkle chopped nuts and some sugar on top
Bake in oven at 200 C for approx 30 mins

1. You can use other flours eg granary
2. Oats or ground almonds can be used in place of some of the flour
3. You can use soft brown sugar in place of white
4. If fruit is less sweet then add a few tablespoons of sugar
5. Hard fruit eg apples can be cooked a little first
6. Add ginger, cinnamon, lemon  etc depending on the fruit
7. Don't overfill the bowl as the fruit juice may bubble up and is hard to remove from the oven
8. Raw crumble mix can be frozen a d used from frozen
