Marzipan
300g ground almonds
150g caster sugar
150g icing sugar
1 1/2 beaten eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
1/4 teaspoon almonds essence
1 teaspoon orange blossom water
Enough to cover a 7"square cake or 20cm round cake
Mix the dry ingredients and add the essences and bean paste. Add egg to make a soft dough. Dust the work surface with icing sugar and knead until smooth
